Documentary Filmmaker and Multimedia Journalist
Devon Jezek is an award-winning documentary filmmaker focused on telling human rights stories through impactful, character-driven films. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications in May 2025 with a BA in Documentary Studies and Production, and minors in Sociology and Journalism.
Through international study and field production, she refined her investigative storytelling skills while producing long-form documentary work. Her films explore topics including women’s rights, climate change, animal welfare, and community resilience, with a focus on elevating underrepresented voices.
Devon has collaborated with NBC6, CBS12, and ClosetoHome Productions, bringing documentary storytelling to broader audiences. As a global traveler and dedicated volunteer, she is recognized for her leadership, cultural empathy, and commitment to meaningful storytelling.
